What’s The Difference Between College Classes And Honors Classes?

I’m filling out a scholarship that requires us to indicate if our high school offers Honors courses. I’m wondering if Honors courses are the same as College courses? And I don’t mean College Prep courses, I mean College courses that you get college credits for. Any help?

College courses count as honors classes. Very few (but there are some that do) honors classes exceed college courses in rigor which will be in your favor.
If you did them at a local college they count as honors classes.
    Thanks
