I am a freshman in Georgia and would love to attend a college in Canada for a year. I would like to know the least expensive college that I can attend in Canada. I have less than $5000 to spend for the year. It would be great, if I had more money or won a scholarship; however, I guess that I have to work with what I have! Thanks.

Hi. If you attend a Canadian university full-time which is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, you’ll be eligible for the Stafford Student Loan to help finance your education. Be careful about your terminology. The terms ‘university’ and ‘college’ in Canada are not interchangable like they are in the United States. The terminology, more about Canada’s educational system, search engines to help you find your perfect campus, financial aid information, guides and tips for American students interested in attending school in Canada are available on the website below. If you have additional questions, complete the feedback form and they will get back to you. Good luck!
