I’m looking for a college in Indiana (or online) that would prepare me for this kind of work.
Thank you all.

I have heard that the best school for video game designers is DigiPen out in Washington:http://www.digipen.edu/main/Main_Page
“…the majority of DigiPen students are pursuing serious careers in the video game industry.”
If you want to stay in Indiana, any school with a computer science degree would be a good place to start, with additional classes in art, graphic design, etc.
Good luck.
To be a video game developer you need a solid math, computer science and design experience. At the undergraduate level you will want to take things like 3d calculus, matrix algebra, and any graphics classes. So while your major would probably be math or computer science you might get a minor in design and try and focus on CS classes that deal with graphics. An undergraduate degree is likely not enough though and I think you would be a better developer and have more opportunities if you got your masters. If you have the grades I would strongly encourage you go to a good school like Carnegie Mellon. They even offer an entertainment technology program (complete with a well known and hard to get into class called “building virtual worlds”)http://www.etc.cmu.edu/Global/index.html
You should also note that the video game industry is largely in Los Angeles and the Bay area.
Take a lot of computer programming courses. If you are interested in the design portion then take a lot of art classes along with graphic designs. Most game companies like to see people with a computer science degree
