I really would like to know a lot more about college softball, as I may want to make that a goal for college. I want to know about the different teams/colleges and the divisions.

If you want to play college softball you need to take into account how good you are. If you go to a division one school with a good team, it will be extremely hard to get on the team. But if you go to a smaller school it will be easier. My favorite team is probably U of A wildcats for softball. They always do well and Michael Candrea the coach, is very good and has won many titles for that school’s softball team.
college softball divisions are divided the same way as other college sports. each school is in an athletic conference usually based on their location/region. some of the major conferences are: Big Ten(midwest), Big EAST(east), ACC(atlantic coast), Big 12(southwest), SEC(southeastern), Pac-10(pacific coast), Big west(west), Mountain West(west), ohio valley(ohio area), missouri valley(in name), MAC(mid-american), Conf. USA(midwest-east), Southwestern(southwest), Horizon, WAC…
