Woman in college, different majors, tuition. Also, what motivates people to attend college, past and present?
I’m looking for well-known movies that have different types of family.
Orphans, kids living with grandparents, regular old nuclear families, odd families, whatever you think of.
Just be sure to mention the name of the movie and the sort of family it has (one of those listed above or another kind). Thanks!
You were invited to a family barbicue contest you were luaghing having so much fun when a bomb explodes you look to the direction more than half of your family are dead then comes the slaughter terrorist come in killing everyone only you and a two other relitives excape.
I am interested in going to college to pursue art and photography (photography as my major). There are many colleges that I am looking into but some of the campus’ don’t impress me. The campus is one of the most important factors in my decision. I am looking into SVA because it is my dream school but the urban setting disappoints me. I do not want to be enrolled in a college that has buildings dispersed around a city.
My dream campus is Princeton, if that helps clarify what I am looking for. Please help.
Thank you very much.
I don’t understand why players like J.J. Reddick and Adam Morrison weren’t as successful in the NBA as other rookie, like Deron Williams. Is it because they simply failed to adjust to the game or is it because of the teams they’re on?
I mean, I already have a feeling Tyler Hansborough won’t make the transition from college to NBA while players like O.J. Mayo, Michael Beasley and Derrick Rose will very likely succeed.
This appears to have happen in the past too, as many of the college record holders are complete unknowns in the NBA.
Why do cultures like S. Americans, Eastern Europeans, asians middle easterns etc have so much emphasize on family & extended family while westerners such as anglo-saxons do not? Like in Italy/Greece family goes from father to uncle to uncles neighbor lol where every one communicates on daily basis.
In my family, one of the things we do during a big family get together, like Christmas, is spread out a big white linin table cloth, reusing the same one year after year until it is full and start another one, everyone present signs it with permanant maker. It is so nice and creates heirlooms for the future generations.
Actually, I’m looking for a couples theme. My fiance and I are both 25 years old, and we want to switch roles this year. I want to go all out and win a contest. I’m thinking of doing the full get up. Shaving my legs, heels, makeup, the whole experience. What do you guys think we should go as? How far should we take it? We were thinking of Borat and Pamela Anderson, but that’s a little outdated. Any other ideas for 2009? Include details on clothes, shoes, colors, makeup, etc. Please no gay comments, as we’re both 100% straight. And yes, I know its only August, but we want to get ready.
