I’m sure there are financial questions, quality of life questions, program questions. Basically if you’ve done this before, you probably have a good set of questions you would ask college representatives while you are selecting prospective schools to attend.
I am currently a college junior and will be having my first baby in late august. I was just wondering from other student-mothers how many credit hours you would recommend that I take during the fall semester. I am planning on doing mostly online courses, and I will not be working more than 15 hours/week if at all. I am currently majoring in family dynamics and human development, and in the past I have found myself able to manage around 14-16 credits comfortably.
I absolutely love animals, but if I don’t want to become a veterinary what type of college major should I pursue if I still want to work with animals?
I really want to open a vegan bakery for people and their pets but there is so much to learn about food. I don’t know which college classes I should take. Going to culinary school is out of the question. I am a major in Graphic Design but really want to gain food knowledge. HELP!
I’m planning on pursuing a career in Animal Behavior – what college degree should I take for that?
Only a few universities offer Ethology, which *is* the study of animal behavior, so while that’s ideal, chances are slim of me doing that. So barring Ethology itself, what is the best major – Zoology, Animal Science, Biology…? I’d rather not do pre-Vet, as I’m not going into the medicine. Thank you!
I have graduated this year and i am taking a year off to work an will take a few college classes thru the community college during that time. Next fall i will start college but i don’t know what to focus on since i want to start an animal sanctuary in my community (all we have is a pound and they have to euthanize them in a week if they can’t find anyone else to take them). What should i major/minor in?
I would just like to know the recommended classes to take. And by the way, i am going to a 2 year community college. So does that mean there are certain classes i will be required to take, like english and math? I appreciate any helpful answers. Thanks.
I am a sophomore in college. I was trying to do chemistry with a criminalistics concentration. I am not having problems with my major when it comes to difficulty, but I am bored with it and I can’t see myself doing it anymore. I really want to be a criminal lawyer (defense or prosecuting attorney) but I don’t know what I need to major and minor in in-order to do it. Are there any current lawyers out there that can help me?? Please?? I really need this help and advice.
So I received a letter from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation saying I could send my PSAT scores to two colleges. However, my college counselor said some colleges (i.e. Yale) do not even look at it if you send it. Has anyone else had this experience? Like, are there certain colleges that do not care if I send them my scores?
I live in maryland and can go to any college in maryland but I’m probably not qualified for Johns Hopkins. I want to major in Biology or something related to it and want to go to a college that is favored by medical schools. Any college that medical schools like, that will help me prepare for med school, and that is in Maryland will do.
Note: The 4 year college I attend must be in maryland but getting noticed by any medical college in the United States is fine. Thanks and to clarify, I’m looking for colleges only in Maryland. Thank You.
