So I received a letter from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation saying I could send my PSAT scores to two colleges. However, my college counselor said some colleges (i.e. Yale) do not even look at it if you send it. Has anyone else had this experience? Like, are there certain colleges that do not care if I send them my scores?
There are so much statistics avaialble on net for US College admissions that it confuses me. How to narrow down the search to select only a few colleges so that I can apply to them?
I recently met someone at my community college, with a special diploma, she’s near 40, and struggles with her remedial classes. To my understanding my college requires at least a GED if not a high school diploma. I was under the impression a special education diploma wasn’t sufficient enough.
I want to apply to other colleges in USA, UK and Australia by keeping a deferred admission to one college in USA. Is this illegal? Will I be caught?Can the colleges find out that I already have deferred admission?
If you can, can you name the colleges? I need to see if I can achieve a softball scholarship to a good college that isnt to far from home.
Next year I am transferring from my community college to a four year university. I however do not know which one. What are the best colleges to transfer to right now. I am looking in California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona and Colorado.
I am a sophomore at 4-year college right now and don’t like the school. I want to fininsh off this coming semester so I can transfer to a community college since it’s cheaper. I plan on taking the next semester at a cc. And then when I become a junior, I’m going to another 4-year college to graduate. Will the colleges I will be applying next year wonder why I started out as a student at a 4-year college but then decided to transfer over to a community colleges?
