My family of five currently has a select family share plan. We have 2100 minutes and unlimited texting. One family member wants to upgrade to a blackberry. How much would the required email features add to our bill? We’re already paying about $200 and can’t afford too much more. Would the price differ much if the person just broke off onto their own plan?

you would be adding $29.99 to the overall plan.
if that person broke off from your plan you would have to consider these two sides:
1. would you bring you current plan down? keep in mind that the next plan down of 1400 mins is only $20 cheaper.
2. the minimum plan that the family member leaving could get is 39.99 Plus the 29.99 for the required data on a blackberry, not to mention the texting plan that the user would need.
