My family went on a cruise to alaska last summer on vacation, and there were college kids working everywhere.
Once I start college, I’m going to need money. How much does the average college student working in alaska make over one summer, and how do you get into that?

Doing what?
Working on a fishing boat can earn you several thousand in a few weeks. It’s difficult and cold.
Working as a waiter pays better than in the lower 48 but the cost of food is high and you had better share lodging with several folk.
For exampl, in Florida there are lots of college students that come from Poland and other middle European countries for summer jobs. Their earnings vs: costs are much better than at home.
Make sure that your earnings vs: costs are better too if your goal is to make money over the summer. If it’s to have a summer job and see what Alaska is like for real, then go for it!
