I love college football for it’s genuine fans and colorful traditions. Plus there are over 500 college teams in every part of the country, and they are affordable.

College is way better. And the dude who wrote the two frickin pages and sed there’s never booing uve obviously never been to a SEC game. I was at lsu vs bama and nick saban came out and more inbred drunk lsu fans, like myself, started cussing and booing so frickin much. It was awesome!!!!!
I think from an overall standpoint, College fans are more crazy than NFL fans. Probably because its a lot of drunk, insane, young college kids. The NFL does have some crazy stadiums, don’t get me wrong, but I feel the tradition and spirit of college football is more evident then in the pros. You also don’t see much booing in College football, when if you come to Giants stadium to watch either the Jets or Giants, you’ll here plenty of boos.
That being said though, I like the NFL more. Maybe because its on TV less and because its the most elite players. Also, the talent is usually more balance than in College. Some college QB ratings are insane because they play third tier teams who are much weaker, slower, and less experienced.
Benboy – Saban got booed because he is a douchebag, and not the LSU coach…I’m speaking about a teams own fans. Have you ever heard LSU fans boo their own teams/coaches? In College they don’t boo their own team, in the pros they will.
Yes, I love the school loyalties and traditions and school spirit and the innocence of the players. However, I also love the pros because the athleticism and skills cannot be matched with the college game, so I also enjoy watching the NFL.
