I am 16 years old and started to think about colleges. I want to know what requirements you have to meet to transfer into University of Michigan or University of Chicago or any other university how does the whole process work. I have plans to go to a smaller college then transfer into a big one.

Thats good that you’re lookin ahead into your future, and planning ahead. From my experience, I didnt go to a university straight from high school. I went to a junior college and went there 2 and half years to finish up some GE classes and pre major classes. I would suggest talking to your high school counselor, and talking about where you want to go for your Transfer college (junior, community etc), and calling the University that you do want to transfer to after your junior college and ask them what you have to take to get in.
ASSIST.ORG is a huge help for people who transfer from a junior/community college to a university or state. Hopefully that will help! Good luck! and remember to talk to your counselor and calling the schools of your choice, and study hard :]
