Im graduating high school and going to a college about 25 minutes from my house (parents house). My college fund my parents put savings in for awhile has about 20,000, and Im planning on getting grants/scholarships to cover the rest of the cost. Could the financial aid cover the other 7000-8000 for the class costs and then with money from working, room and board? Or should I just stay with my parents?

I am looking at colleges right now and I say that living on campus is soo much better it gives you the freedom, and also with the whole grants and stuff that all has to go twards tuition and than your savings should go twards you room and board!
many colleges require freshman to live on campus and dorm costs are added into the total package
You could always see how much financial aid you get and then decide if you want to live at home or not. You might end up not saving as much living at home since gas has gone up and you would have to drive 25 minutes each way.
