Here is an interview with Cameron Johnson (one of the most successful teenage entrepreneurs in the world), where he shares his advice to ‘getting started’ and a personal inspiration story.
I want to write a short story about a family (2 parents and 1 child) who are Russian and live in Russia, and immigrate to America from Russia. The story is set in the mid-late 1980s.
Would it be possible for a family to do this, and if so, how? Would they have to do it illegally?
Any answers appreciated, the more info the better.
Thanks!
I don’t buy the food at my house, my family does for me. I’m always telling them that we need to eat healthy, but all they buy is junk. I even make a seprate list for food I want, but they never listen. I wish my family wern’t such junk food junkies!
What are some ways for families that do not have ties to US citizens to enter the US legally and obtain Green Card status? For example, is it possible for a family of two parents and one child to enter if one or more parents have work visas? Or do they need something else? Can they eventually stay and obtain Green Cards? I’m interested in legal paths.
OK, here’s the scoop: My friend is physically disabled due to a work-related injury when she worked as a CNA, and her health is not very good at all. She is borderline diabetic and she was on the verge of having a stroke and a heart attack the day before Easter. Essentially she is very stressed about her and her family at the poverty level and about not providing an Easter for her family. Her husband left her for a younger woman, and he admitted in being with her because of her money. He is living better without any regards to his wife and young children’s plight. They are still married, however. My friend cannot afford to pay all her bills and she and her family tend to go hungry a lot. I try to help financially but I am really to the breaking point because of other obligations I must attend to. They reside in rural North Central Florida, and I don’t know what else to include so I can get more responses to my question. I am also looking for ways to self-help. Please help TY
My family is already planning on moving out to California, regardless of where I go to college. I want to go to Berkeley, but I understand that only like 9% of first-year students are from out of state. Will I be counted as a resident of California, if the rest of my family has a residence there when I apply?
Has any heard about this family product: How To Make Candles – Step-by-Step Instructions? I actually have used it and found it to be excellent.
I am probably going to share with two other members of my family. A couple of us will probably do some texting, web browsing and emailing. But the last person will just use it just for calling.
You hear about the killing of girls and women for their behavior in some Muslim cultures to maintain family honor, so I’m wondering what type of behavior would a man get killed for in those cultures?
I recently had asked a question and it I mentioned I was pregnant and planning on attending college. ( I am 18.) A lot of people mentioned family housing on campus but I have never heard of it and I am curious to what it is and what I have to do to be able to move into it? Also if it would be cheaper to just get my own place?
